Circular Economy: European and Local support for the development of sustainable projects

The seminar allowed participants to discover the range of grants proposed by the Brussels Region and the European Union to provide financial support to companies in setting up their projects.

ZABALA Innovation Consulting will participated at a half-day seminar organized by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce - BENELUX, BECI and Europe Enterprise Network on Success Stories that illustrated how public funding has contributed to the finalization of projects, as well as highlighting the constraints and requirements necessary to obtain them.

European funding is available for any size of project, whether collaborative or individual. During the seminar, Marie Latour - Head of the Brussels Office, presented “Aides européennes à l’économie circulaire” were she gave an overview of the general Horizon 2020 framework and outlined its pillars for ENV-based projects, namely: Excellence Science, Competitive Industries and Societal Challenge.

The presentation will mapped the funding programmes related to the Circular Economy such as SC5 (ENV), LIFE, KIC Raw Materials, Prima, Eurostars and others and indicate the TRL positions related to each funding programme. It also highlighted relevant ENV-related events in 2017 such as the “Information day for Horizon 2020 Climate action, environment, resource efficiency and raw materials” in November.
