Smart Cities: General Assembly of Replicate project in Bristol
06/02/2017
The meeting was aimed to overview the progress made during this past year in the lighthouse cities

ZABALA Innovation Consulting recently attended the first year’s general assembly for the Replicate project in Bristol where presentations were given by the different work package leaders on the activities conducted so far and the planned roadmap for the project. Buoyant discussions were held with interactive sessions for the current live work packages which helped to further ameliorate the details of the project and create closer collaboration between the partners.

The General Assembly was framed in a three days meeting to overview the progress made during this past year in the lighthouse cities – San Sebastian (Spain), Florence (Italy) and Bristol (United Kingdom), as well as, in the follower cities – Essen (Germany), Lausanne (Switzerland) and Nilüfer (Turkey).

Representatives from all Replicate consortium partner organisations (composed by 36 partners) were there to give updates on their work and present the future action lines to the rest. Many different activities were organised, such as technical sessions, discussion forums and collaborative workshops.

Furthermore, on February 3rd, Venturefest Bristol & Bath, also known as the largest innovation and investment event in the south west of UK, was held and Replicate project had a stand in there. Consortium partners attended this smart cities event to hear how businesses within Bristol and Bath are embracing this movement.
